To be clear...

Totalitarian: I want the say in how everyone uses everything.
Socialist: Everyone should have a say in how everyone uses everyone’s stuff.
Libertarian: Everyone should have a say in how they use their life, body and property and not those of others. #amliberty

If voting for an emerging party is seen as a protest vote for those rejecting the status quo. Would a vote for the incumbent parties be an affirmation vote, affirming and giving in to the standard of war, confiscation and control? #Libertarian #AmLiberty #ReadyYet

A Libertarian world is an individualist one. Where claims and claimants are taken as themselves in their context. Where one is given the opportunity to make their claims and be heard and others dispute them and also be heard. No one owns truth, all should seek it. #amliberty

A fairly decent libertarian 101 Video I did back in early 2017. Worth a watch if you haven’t seen it, and/or share it with your non-Libertarian friends.https://t.co/U3qnr202cJ#amliberty

I’d like a world where people can speak to the traumatic events in their life and others can deny accusations made to them without people rushing to condemn either of them as liars or troublemakers. Justice is not found for anyone by preventing thoughtfulness. #amliberty

Ostracism/Shame is a legit tool of free association to punish. My personal preference is not to use this in regards to ideology because you create a precedent to discourage thinking and push people away into growing echo chambers which over time can have blowback. #amliberty

Government and voluntary organizations are at their most different when you examine them on a micro level. The resource constraints, the management interests and more all lead to a great diversion of internal governance. #amliberty

You can empower yourself by constantly advancing your knowledge, skills, health and relationships. Not only will you empower and enhance your liberty but inspire others to do so as well. #amliberty #advice

Government and Centralization is simply a force filling a vacuum those before us left open to be filled. By empowering ourselves and each other, by taking responsibility for our own lives we can refill that space with individual liberty and decentralized institutions. #amliberty

Some say you must carefully design a free society to have free people which may require prioritizing society or “nation”. On the contrary any society that doesn’t prioritize first people being free despite their differences can never be a free society. #amliberty #libertarian

I have no problem with people being offended, everyone has sensibilities. What does bother me is when people think others are obligated to accommodate their sensibilities. Accommodations should be seen as a voluntary courtesy and kindness, not an obligation. #amliberty

Always annoys me when people fear monger corporations. You do realize governments are just corporations with geographical monopolies over the use of police/military power where citizens get 1 free non-transferable voting share with a negative dividend (taxes). #amliberty

Some more decentralized and/or Blockchain based social media platforms:

Read about these Blockchain based social media platforms. You may not need them, but what is fascinating is the incentive models and how they can be used elsewhere. #DisruptEverything #amliberty https://t.co/erBxAN0ECV

In a #Libertarian world we ask ourselves how to better define our individual domain to make conflict rare and resolution quick and clear. In today’s world we create complex conflict to confiscate between collective domains. #amliberty

Laws don’t reduce crime. They expand what is a crime defining more and more of us as criminals. Coexistence doesn’t come from dictates or zero tolerance, it comes from respect for each others life, body and property and a willingness to tolerate and forgive each other. #amliberty

If the #Libertarian Party can break the two party duopoly it benefits everyone. While Libertarians will enjoy greater representation, all perspectives would now live in and enjoy a world where they are not marginalized by the stagnation of conventional politics. #amliberty

Many #Libertarian voices are finding themselves excluded from the discussion in politics, society and culture. Although, our voice is getting louder and heard by more everyday, keep building the platform and we will breakthrough. #amliberty

#ThursdayThoughts #AmLiberty would not the world be better if the societal debate was not “which ideals will we force on each other?” but “how can I better live my ideals to persuade others by example?”. Help build that world by joining the #Libertarian Party.
— Alex Merced (@alexmerced) September 20, 2018
Bottom line, Libertarianism leaves a blank canvas for how society should be structured. It merely sets a rule of non-violence in creating it. A blank canvas can appeal to the best and worst of us. #amliberty
— Alex Merced (@alexmerced) September 19, 2018
Those who want power use fear and pessimism to have others give up their autonomy. Us #libertarian voices have the job of using hope and optimism to inspire people to take control of their lives back. Voice the beauty of individual empowerment and transform the world. #amliberty

If we can make grander, undeniable and overwhelming the value the #Libertarian community brings in its enterprises, voluntary aid and relationship building the result will be a bold evolution of society. #amliberty

The #Libertarian Party offers you a political vehicle that doesn’t force you to choose to control some and not others to preserve your interests. We offer you the freedom for all to pursue their own interests on their terms to discover what works better faster. #amliberty
